In his spare time, Dr. DeVeau enjoys running, walking his dog, hiking, kayaking, enjoying the outdoors, listening to a wide range of music, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.

Biography

Dr. Joseph DeVeau specializes in family medicine and can treat every member of your family – kids, teens, and adults. Dr. DeVeau sees patients ages 6 and up. He also has a special interest in adolescent and sports medicine.

Dr. DeVeau earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the Dartmouth Family Practice Residency Program and his residency at Carolinas Medical Center.

Before joining Privia Medical Group, he started his career at Eagle’s Landing Family Practice in Ellenwood, GA, then joined Piedmont Physicians Group in Fayetteville, where he has worked for the past 10 years.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.
